Varna Trace ("the app") is a handwriting-tracing app for English, Hindi, and numbers. This page explains what information the app collects, how it's used, and who it's shared with.
Your tracing progress — which characters you've completed, your daily streak, and which character you last traced — is stored locally on your device only. It is never transmitted to any server we operate. Uninstalling the app deletes this data. The app does not require an account, sign-in, or any personal information (name, email, etc.) to use.
If you subscribe to unlock additional content, your purchase is processed entirely by Apple's App Store. We use RevenueCat, a third-party subscription management service, to verify and manage your subscription status. RevenueCat receives an anonymous identifier for your app installation and standard purchase/transaction data from Apple needed to activate your subscription — it does not receive your name, email, or tracing progress. We also record two small timestamps against that same anonymous identifier (when you first completed a trace, and when you last viewed the subscription screen) to understand basic usage — no other activity is tracked.
Varna Trace does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, regardless of age. The app is not exclusively directed at children, and does not include ads, external links, or in-app messaging that would expose a child to third-party content.
You can delete all locally stored progress at any time by uninstalling the app. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your device's Settings app (Settings → your name → Subscriptions), independent of us.
If this policy changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the app after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
